Payment elections are how an employee gets paid (bank accounts, direct deposit information, etc.), and are set up in an employee's Workday account
While taking the time to enroll, ensure Payment Elections are set correctly in Workday. (If Payment Elections are not set according to guidelines below, myFlexPay will not activate.). See guidelines below:
Ensure at least one of your elections is set to 'Balance' instead of a percentage or amount. And please make sure to arrange the order of your elections so that the option you have set to 'Balance' is at the bottom of the list. (Or, set to Payment Order 1)
After ensuring that at least one Payment Election is set to 'Balance,' ensure any other elections are NOT set up with percentages that add up to 100%.
Ensure elections are set up as 'Direct Deposit' and not 'Check' or anything else.
Ensure elections are labeled as 'Regular' and not 'Bonus'
Ensure the bank account number does not contain any special characters, such as hyphens, spaces, or letters. ONLY bank accounts with numerical values will come across to myFlexPay
Ensure the bank account number is at least 6 digits long. If the bank account number is not at least 6 digits, add a few '0' (zero) characters to the front of the bank account number (ie. 12345 to 012345) to make the bank account 6 digits long.
Once correct adjustments are made in Workday, these changes will sync to myFlexPay in 24 hours or less
Still not sure how to set these? Please check this instructional video: How to Update Payment Elections in Workday (Direct Deposit Setup)
