Why has my transfer been split across pay periods?
If you are paid in arrears, you will receive your salary after the end of the current pay period. This means that if you transfer pay after the end of your pay period your transfers may be split across pay periods. This can be explained below:
- If you have earned enough money in the latest pay period (not the last pay period) to cover the amount being transferred, the full transfer will be reconciled on the future payday
- If you have not earned enough money in the latest pay period (not the last pay period) to cover the amount being transferred, we will:
- Take as much as we can from the future pay period, and then take the remaining amount from the last pay period
- If you haven't got any available balance in the future pay period, the full amount being transferred will be reconciled from the last pay period
More details of how this breakdown happens can be found on the balance calculation page by tapping the ℹ️ icon in the Track header.
